Homestead Farm

We are a small family run farm. It has been in our family for nearly 60 years. We have mostly rescue hens that have been on commercial farms previously. We have 200 hens although some lay only occasionally we aim to keep them as long as they are healthy. Some are 5 years old +. We are free range with an large electric fence to keep them safe from Mr Fox which we move about so they have grass to eat. We like to let them scratch about under the orchard or snooze under the sheds when it’s hot!
