Just past billy Andys pub on our family farm of which I’m the 5th generation.
I have kept show poultry all of my life as has my father. But over the last few years I have turned back time by getting more laying breeds like my grandmother had.
We put up an honesty box for locals and as the custom continues to grow so does my laying flock.
I currently have about 70 laying hens & 30 quail , which are true free range. Which basically means they are all out every day with access to rich fresh grass.
It is the greens in their diet that changes the yoke colour and taste along with a much healthier happier quality of life for the birds.
We offer in our vending machine style honesty box.
Large hen eggs
Banty hen eggs
Quail eggs
Rainbow eggs (coloured eggs)
Please if you are in our area , try our eggs and if you fancy to keep some hens yourself in future I can also help advise and supply housing if needed.
Our honesty box is open 24/7 for fresh hens but I have added opening hours of our workshop
