Happy Hens Lay Yummy Eggs

Our flock is a mixture of hybrid (mixed breed) and rescue chickens, plus Clyde our rooster (also rescued). Under trading standards, we can only call our eggs fresh and not free-range, but our hens enjoy roaming about their enclosure, eating corn, grass, and whatever bugs they can find. They lay consistently every day, which is their way of telling us they are very happy! You might find that the eggs are different shapes, sizes, and colours – this is all normal and ranges slightly from hen to hen each day.

Occasionally, you may also find baked goods, jams and fresh veg, depending on what is excess that week, plus a book swap.

These are all available from the honesty hut at the bottom of the lane. It is accessible and parking is available.
